I completed my BSc in Medical Sciences and Engineering at UCL, during this time I also worked in multidisciplinary teams for startups and participated in a project under the IHE (Institute of Healthcare Engineering) summer studentship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. I later pursued an MSc in Medical Robotics and AI at UCL, focusing my research on Visual Language Models (VLMs) to anticipate surgical events. Outside of my academic and professional interests, I enjoy staying active through football, exploring new ideas through reading, and building things through DIY projects.
My research interests lie in Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and their perception and planning capabilities. I am particularly interested in how we can effectively leverage digital technologies to enhance healthcare systems, from improving clinical decision-making and streamlining administrative workflows, to supporting surgical procedures and patient rehabilitation. I aim to explore how intelligent automation and robotics can assist healthcare professionals, increase efficiency, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
