Join us at the first annual tech4health conference in Belfast on 5 and 6 November 2025
Welcome to the Tech4health Annual Conference 25/26! Join us to hear from tech4health students, staff and collaborators, take part in Digital Health Tech themed workshops and for a chance to meet others in the Digital Health Tech Research space.
There will be a full two day program at the Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast.
Day 1 will focus on the students; with digital health themed hackathon's, key-note speeches from leading academics in the research area and an opportunity for the students to display and view each other's work.
Day 2 will bring industry, government, clinical and charitable partners together with tech4health students and staff to hear about our students research as well as talks from the tech4health investigator team and for opportunities to meet others in the Digital Health Technology space.

Q: How do I travel to Crumlin Road Gaol from the Cathedral Quarter?
A: Crumlin Road Gaol is located just north of Belfast city centre. It's a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral Quarter. Taxis will take 5-10 minutes and metro buses 12B and 57 go past the Gaol on the Crumlin Road.
Q: What is the closest airport?
A: The nearest airport is George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD), approximately 15 minutes by taxi. Belfast International Airport (BFS) is 30–40 minutes by taxi or coach.

Professor Rebecca Shipley
Becky is Professor of Healthcare Engineering at UCL and Chief Research Officer at UCL Partners. She is Co-Director for the tech4health CDT.
Professor Noel O’Connor
Noel E. O’Connor is a Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering at Dublin City University and Academic Director of the Research and Enterprise Hub on Information Technology and the Digital Society.
Professor Ingemar Cox
Ingemar is a Professor of Computer Science at UCL and theme lead for the tech4health programme on theme 3 disease tracking, surveillance and monitoring.
